Grain-Free Cereal
This recipe is suitable for a Ketotarian. It's made of nuts and seeds and will not increase your blood sugar levels, supporting a ketogenic diet. It supports hormonal balance, heart and mental health and is soothing to the nervous system. It also tastes delicious and is very filling.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp flax seeds
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
- 1 tbsp raw almonds
- 1 tbsp raw cashews
- 1 tbsp coconut flakes or shred
- 1 tbsp goji berries
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground cardamom
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 vanilla bean, seeded (optional)
- Hot water
- berries, bananas or other seasonal fruit (omit if on a strict keto diet or choose low sugar fruit – apple, pear, berries)
- yogurt with active culture (I prefer dairy free)
Instructions
- Grind all nuts, seeds, goji berries and spices together into a fine meal in a blender or food processor. Feel free to multiply the quantities to make a jar of Grain-Free Cereal you can keep in the fridge.
- When it's time to serve, add ingredients to a serving bowl and pour just enough hot water to cover. Mix well. If you want to sweeten (especially if you skip fruit), you may add a few drops of stevia. Top with fresh fruit, and a drizzle of yogurt.
